TreeRush Adventures at Fontenelle Forest in Bellevue, Neb., located on the Missouri River 15 minutes outside of Omaha, celebrated its grand opening July 31. Merica Whitehall, Fontenelle Forest executive director, said, We see the new Adventure Park as another opportunity to experience the beauty of nature at the Forest.
Additionally, visitors can access the ponds, nature trails and historic fish hatchery at Schramm Park, located directly east of the facility. Fontenelle Forest owns and manages two nature centers: Fontenelle Forest Nature Center in Bellevue and Neale Woods in Omaha.
