Integrative Medicine

Integrative medicine is the new buzz word for medical care that complements mainstream medical care. Annals of integrative medicine involves various aspects of integrative medicine such as acupuncture and moxibustion, traditional Chinese medicine,nutrition, chiropractic, mind-body medicine, meditation, and any other modalities of CAM, as well as their integration with the conventional medicine.
UACIM research activities contribute rigorous scientific studies on the integration of complementary therapies with conventional medicine, with a focus on educational research, corporate health improvement research, and methods to study clinical outcomes in integrative medicine.



Ms. Decker is the editor of An Introduction to Complementary Therapies and coauthor of the Handbook of Integrative Oncology Nursing: Evidence-Based Practice, and she was the first column editor for the Integrated Care column in the Oncology Nursing Society publication, Clinical Journal of Oncology Nursing (CJON).
