The book was so easy to read and I was guided through an assessment and treatment procedure as if Paul was there with me. It allowed me to work out why I was suffering with pain, what was causing it and more importantly how to get rid of it. For me, my Gluteal muscles were too weak, and my Piriformis and Hamstring Muscles were too tight (if that sounds as if I know what I am talking about, I do not know that much really, only what I have learnt from Paul's book).
I would strongly recommend Paul if you have back pain, he has given me back my life, I have just returned from a short break in Lisbon a city built on hills, I could not have even thought of going six months ago let alone walking up the cobbled streets.
Commonly, physiotherapy works exceptionally well with health issues requiring rehabilitation (of joints or muscles), and it can be of great benefit to people suffering from back pain, neck pain and any reduction in mobility (many types of chronic pain where a Chorley chiropractor or osteopath may also help).
Of course when I came away I thought I had better give it a go, which I did and my back got worse so I gave them up. In fact when I went to the phyiso I explained what the exercises were and that they were painful to do, she said 'she would not given them to someone with a good back, let alone someone with a bad back'.
Although there is evidence that slimming clubs can help people to lose weight (Jebb et al., 2011 ; Jolly et al., 2011 ), other healthcare practitioners can lack confidence in addressing weight loss (Ware et al., 2012 ), and when patients are diagnosed as being overweight or obese, weight management practices are highly variable (Henderson, 2015 ; Ossolinski et al., 2015 ). Referral on to other professionals who are not trained in supporting weight loss may therefore not be a clinically or cost‐effective approach.
