Laura has extensive acupuncture training through Acupuncture Canada; AA1 Foundations of Anatomical Acupuncture and AA2 Clinical Applications in Anatomical Acupuncture courses in acupuncture and is CAFCI certified. Dr. Jeremy Hillyard, medical site lead for St. Martha's, said doctors have left in the past year for a variety of reasons, including better pay in other jurisdictions, issues with changes to licensing regulations, for places where they would spend less time on-call and for family reasons.
Laura grew up in Shubenacadie, N.S. Her passion for health and wellness stemmed from years of competitive figure skating, as a member of Team Nova Scotia and over the past decade has always been either working at a gym or leading exercise classes, spin is her favourite.



Her desire to further pursue her studies and further her clinical experience took her to The Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Calgary, Alberta, where she spent an additional two years and graduated with a Diploma of Acupuncture and as a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Dr. Zhang completed a Bachelor of Medicine degree (specializing in acupuncture and moxibustion), a Master of Medicine degree (specializing in integrating TCM and modern medicine) and a PhD in Internal Medicine of TCM at the Chengdu University of TCM, Sichuan Province, China.

Jennifer Blacklock is a graduate of the Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences in Nelson B.C. Recently Jennifer has established Eastern Tides Acupuncture in Truro, Nova Scotia, a traditional Chinese medicine clinic offering acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, massage, dietary counseling and qi gong practices.
With additional training and expertise in Pulse Diagnosis, 5 Element Acupuncture and Meridian Balancing, Reuven has extensive experience in Cupping Antigonish treating pain, stress, digestive issues, fatigue, menopause and many other issues including working with pregnancy and children.

In her practice, Dr. Reidlinger emphasizes nutrition, digestion, and sustainable lifestyle practices - principles she tries to incorporate into her daily life after a history of managing her own health challenges with celiac disease. Carol Anne Landry's journey into health care began in 1995. Illya obtained his Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine Diploma at the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Victoria, B.C. (2002). Her philosophy is one that promotes a comprehensive treatment program including patient education, manual therapy, and personalized exercise prescription.
